Before you begin, please review this Key Concepts that introduces you to the key concepts of your membership and use of the Connect Platform.

This overview is not a legal document and is not enforceable. However, it provides you with a overview of the key concepts found in the User Agreement, Privacy Policy and Data Sovereignty Policy.

Overview

1. Your Digital Identity (“Sourcery ID”)

When you register on the Platform, you receive a Sourery ID. This is a 20-character (X0000-X0000-X0000-X0000) unique Self-Sovereign Identity (SSID) that verifies who you on the platform by linking your mobile number to your location and device credentials. This Sourcery ID allow other users to connect with you and identify you without user name, email or other personal information being disclosed. It is non transferable and will always be connected to you while a member of Sourcery.

2. Your Encrypted Vault (PDV)

Your Sourcery ID creates a Partner Data Vault (PDV). This is your personal encrypted storage in the cloud and on blockchain. Your Sourcery ID is a shortened unique encrpyion key. Only you can access and control the data stored in your PDV. It is a zero-knowledge system so even Sourcery cannot view or access your data.  

3. You Own Your Data (Data Sovereignty)

We are committed to Data Sovereignty. As the originator and creator of your data, you always own and control what is uploaded to Sourcery Connect. We do not claim ownership of your commercial or supply chain data.

4. Licensing & Monetization

By using the Platform, you give Sourcery permission to market and license your data on your behalf via the Sourcery Exchange data marketplace.

• Anonymity: Data is sold and licensed as aggregated, anonymized digital assets or Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) called Bluechips.

• Data Content: Each Bluechip contains the compressed and encryped data, documents, images that you wish to license to third-parties via the Sourcery Exchange.

• Permission: We will never sell your personal contact info without asking you first on a case-by-case basis.

• Rewards: Royalties from data licensing are paid to your mobile wallet as BluePoints, which can be transferred to other users at equal value or converted to local currency. 100 BluePoints = $1 USD equivalent value.

5. Blockchain is Permanent

Data stored in your PDV is immutable (it cannot be altered or deleted by anyone, including us). If you deactivate your account, access to your PDV is blocked, but the encrypted ledger entry remains on the blockchain permanently.

6. Liability

Sourcery and its affiliates provide the platform "as-is." We are not liable for data storage failures, transmission delays, or commercial losses resulting from platform outages.
