Welcome to Sourcery Connect.
Before you begin, please review this Membership and User Overview that includes the key concepts of your membership and use of the Connect Platform below.
It serves as a abbreviated overview and summary of your engagement with Sourcery and how your data is protected, stored, and monetized and its not a legal document. The binding legal contracts between you and Sourcery are found in the Membership and User Agreement, Privacy Policy and related policies that must be reviewed and acknowledged prior to tapping ‘accept’ below:
1. Your Digital Identity (Bluenumber)
When you register on the Platform, you receive a Bluenumber (B#). This is your unique Self-Sovereign Identity (SSID) that verifies who you are by linking your mobile number to your location and device credentials.
2. Your Encrypted Vault (PDV)
Your Bluenumber creates a Partner Data Vault (PDV). This is your personal encrypted storage on the blockchain. Your Bluenumber is the unique key; only you can access and control the data stored in your PDV.
3. You Own Your Data (Data Sovereignty)
We are committed to Data Sovereignty. As the creator of your data, you always own and control what is uploaded to Sourcery Connect. We do not claim ownership of your commercial or supply chain data.
4. Licensing & Monetization
By using the Platform, you give Sourcery permission to market and license your data on your behalf.
Anonymity: Data is sold and licensed as aggregated, anonymized digital assets called Bluechips.
Permission: We will never sell your personal contact info without asking you first on a case-by-case basis.
Rewards: Royalties from data sales are paid to your mobile wallet in BluePoints, which can be transferred to other users or converted to local currency.
5. Blockchain is Permanent
Data stored in your PDV is immutable (it cannot be altered or deleted by anyone, including us). If you deactivate your account, access to your PDV is blocked, but the encrypted ledger entry remains on the blockchain permanently.
6. Liability
Sourcery and its affiliates (including Bluenumber) provide the platform "as-is." We are not liable for data storage failures, transmission delays, or commercial losses resulting from platform outages.
