Beyond Blockchain

At Sourcery, we know that transparency, traceability and impact aren’t driven by technology alone—they’re built on human relationships, clear communication that requires mutual trust.

Too often, organizations believe that building a technology platform, launching a blockchain, or mandating adoption is enough. But credible and meaningful outcomes—transparency, traceability, and verified impact—can’t be engineered or imposed. They must be earned.

In a sector where relationships, knowledge and trade channels are the foundation of our Partners’ businesses, we designed Connect to be a platform you can trust—one that protects, not extracts-value.

Each transaction on Connect captures Verified Place and chain-of-custody data, documents, images—establishing a legally recognized record backed by authentic invoices, transport documents, and payment evidence.

Built For Scale. Ready for Impact.

Sourcery Connect supports both mass-balance and physical traceability chain-of-custody models, giving Partners the flexibility to meet trade and operational needs today while retaining the option to unlock verified physical traceability and impact from producer to consumer.

Mass Balance Traceability

Mass-balance accounting serves most Partners by providing a flexible, scalable, low-cost, and low-risk approach to traceability, enabling accurate facility-level volume reconciliation and portfolio-wide oversight. As the standard chain-of-custody model in Sourcery Connect, it supports aggregate volume reconciliation across complex supply chains.

Physical Traceability

For Partners seeking deeper visibility and assurance, physical traceability preserves product-level chain-of-custody through controlled blending and identity-preserved material flows. Powered by BlueSync™ it enables credible, value-added claims across quality, labour, water, and climate-based reporting through qualified Impact Partners.

Intelligent Verification

Connect introduces digital third-party verification (DTPV) using automated data triangulation verification and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) technology borrowed from the banking industry combined with traditional human-led third-party verification by Sourcery Assurance Partners.

Partner Verification – All partners and counterparties are verified with automated KYC, KYB, AML, sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks.

Place Verification – Farms, sites and facilities are verified at origin using geolocation, land titles and risk-based validation. Learn more.

Transaction Verification – Transactions are validated using verified documents, digital signatures, immutable audit trails and blockchain-backed records.

Physical Audits – Trusted Assurance Partners conduct on-site assessments, sampling, lab testing and remote audits.
